The
Education Enrichment Foundation encourages applications from all grade
levels, subject areas, and funding levels. Inexpensive proposals are just as
worthy as high-cost requests. Short projects can meet the criteria as well as
long-term projects. Be aware that the
Foundation does not issue
grants for resources that should normally be available through the school
district and its tax-supported budget (e.g., text books, digital cameras). Please check with your school or
district to see if the materials and/or equipment you need for your ideas
might already be available.

Procedures
For Application All applications must be postmarked on Monday, August 29,
2005. Any applications received after that postmark will be
returned, unread. Have
your principal or supervisor sign the cover page of the application to
indicate his or her approval for your grant request. The amount requested on
the cover page, the information sheets, and the detailed budget must all be
the same. Please
provide complete contact information
(e.g., the email address you check most often, home telephone, home mailing
address with zip). EEF corresponds with grant recipients throughout the
school year. On all proposals, indicate one person as the project manager
with whom we should correspond. Be sure to use adequate postage if you send
your proposal via the U.S. Postal Service. You must send one (1) cover sheet and three (3) information
sheet/attachments sets. You
may make as many copies of the Great Idea Grant Application Form as you need.
Do not send any extra materials, such as video tapes or samples, with your
application. These will be discarded before the application is reviewed. Be
as specific as possible in your project proposal, but keep the proposal short
and to the point. In general, the project summary, description, links to
State Standards, and detailed budget should require no more than 3-6 pages
total. EEF
assigns a project ID number to each application. Be sure to write the Project
Title on each page of the application at the top and number pages at the
bottom. Do not put your name or the name of your school on pages other than
the first page of the application. Call
the Education Enrichment Foundation office at 864-942-0674 if you have
questions or need further information. The Great Idea Grant application is in Microsoft Word format. |
