PicView - Picture Viewing Utility
If you're like me, you've downloaded a lot of pictures off the Internet. So you've probably got a least one directory with a few hundred pictures in it. Furthermore, you may not remember what all these pictures are... and the Window's Explorer doesn't always give you a large enough thumbnail picture to really tell (plus it seems awfully slow, sometimes). This application allows you to move through the whole directory with just the up and down arrows, or a click of the mouse. Loading time is fast and it shows the picture in actual size if you have enough screen resolution. If the picture is too big, PicView autosizes it to fit the screen while maintaining the proper aspect ratio (so its not "stretched" or "squashed"). Simply click the button in the lower right to change drives or directories without restarting the application. The picture above shows the windows that pop up when changing directories. Handles GIF's, JPEG's and Bitmaps. System Requirements
